Snowkiting on ski’s or snowboard is your lift ticket to open backcountry terrain with no queues!
Backcountry Snowkiting Tours in the Waitaki and Central Otago areas. Day Tours and Overnight Tours available (but must be an experienced snowkiter).

Day Tours – You will need to provide all your own snow and kite equipment, and have at least completed a Full Day lesson or already be an independent snowkiter. Perfect for those that want to go a bit further from the car and explore more terrain.
Overnight Tours – For experienced backcountry snowkiters only, explore the backcountry and get the chance to camp overnight in an alpine area, either tent, hut, or even a snowcave!
